An Academy Athlete Film

Our Academy athletes have stepped behind the camera – writing, shooting and editing their debut short film, Hirwa. Based on true events, Hirwa depicts life on the streets through the athletes’ own eyes and voices. Hirwa is a Rwandan name that means “chance.”
